Errata sheet for Traditional Math
For all of you faithful readers who have purchased a copy of “Traditional Math”, you may have noticed some errors. Our apologies. Here is an errata sheet of errors caught so far. It will be updated as necessary, and hopefully it will not be necessary!
p. 160: For Warm-up No. 5, the answer should be 3, not -3.
p. 165: After the two italicized rules, the first sentence of the paragraph that follows should read “Since students know that 2 X -3 …”, not 2 X 3.
p. 168: The last sentence of the second paragraph on that page should read “Substituting x in for 10…”, not “x in for 5”.
p. 264. In Warm-up No. 1, the second sentence should read: “Three more than two times some number is 11.”
